In episode #73 of 🎙️The Business Case For Women’s Sports, presented by Ally, Caroline interviews Meghann Burke, the Executive Director of the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association (NWSLPA).

As the labor union of NWSL players, the goal of the NWSLPA is to elevate professional standards in NWSL so that every player can pursue a long-lasting, sustainable, and fulfilling career as a professional soccer player. 

In her role leading the union, Meghann serves as a voice and advocate of the players, which includes serving as the collective bargaining representative of NWSL players. 

In this episode, hear Meghann talk more about everything that the NWSLPA has achieved since its inception in 2017 - including negotiating a landmark CBA agreement in 2022 - and listen to Meghann share more about all of the ways that her team fights on behalf of NWSL players every single day.
