New data from Deloitte forecasts that women’s sports is on pace to cross the $2 billion revenue threshold for the first time in 2025.
Deloitte’s new report - "Beyond the Billion-dollar Barrier: Charting the Next Phase of Growth"- highlights a 240% revenue increase in pro women’s sports over the past 4 years, and forecasts that women’s sports will reach $2.35 billion in global revenue in 2025.
This projection follows a groundbreaking year in 2024, where women’s sports surpassed expectations, generating $1.88 billion in revenue – a significant jump from Deloitte's original $1.3 billion prediction.
